Lester and Ruth S. will lead a mid-week trip over Kebler Pass on Wednesday, Sept 30th. Plan to leave Downtown (Old) City Market at 8:30am. Have a full tank of gas, lunch, water and snacks. Trail rating is probably a 1 / 2.
Lester and Ruth S. have rescheduled the previous trip on Old Monarch Pass to Friday, October 2nd. We’ll start with Old Monarch Pass, then on to Black Sage Pass, Waunita Hot Springs and return to pavement of US 50.
Plan to leave Downtown (Old) City Market at 8:30am with a full tank of gas, water, lunch and snacks. Trails probably rated about a 2 /3.
Rick A. will lead a True Grit Tour this year. Plan to leave South City Market at 8:30am. Have a full tank of gas; also bring water, lunch, snacks, etc. Trails would probably be rated a 2.
Eddie & Linnea will lead our annual clean up on Wave/ Eagle Loop in the Peach Valley area. This will be a trail ride only, with no bar-be-que or picnic.
Meet at Downtown (Old) City Market in Montrose at 9am. Have a full tank of gas, water, lunch and snacks.
Trail rating is probably a 3/4.
OK, it’s that time of year again to close the lower and 2 upper gates as we sweep Poughkeepsie Gulch of any lost hunters. Let’s plan on mustering at City Market South around 8:40 AM so we can leave by 9:00 AM. Bring the usual survival gear plus whatever you have to deal with any early snow (chains, shovels, traction mats, etc.).
Have a full tank of gas,; bring lunch, water, snacks, etc.
Eddie P. will lead 7 Mile Rim Trail in Moab. Trail is rated a 4 on 1 to 10 by Red Rocks 4-Wheelers and difficult by Charles Wells.
Sevenmile Rim
Meet 9.00 a.m at the large parking area North of Rt.313 (canyon Rd ). It is almost across from the Campground Archview. This is air down spot.
Bring a full tank of gas, water, lunch and, probably, coats.
We plan a little side trip to Tusher Tunnel so bring a working flashlight.

Lester and Ruth S. will lead a 2-day exploration of a little seen part of Canyonlands NP. Monday afternoon they will explore Davis Canyon, this will involve driving to the NP boundary and then a hike to look for ruins and rock art. Tuesday the day will be spent exploring Lavender Canyon, a gated part of Canyonlands.
Rick will be camping and running trails, as yet to be determined, in Moab. Contact him directly if interested.
